archidomin study: head and beak

These critters may be jumpy, but they have fairly good defense against enemies. They're constantly alert and have a wide span of vision since their eyes are mostly at the side of the heads. They're omnivores, and their ten teeth are rootless, and never stop growing, so they have a habit to chew on hard surfaced objects, like a tree or even rocks. The two teeth beneath the thin tongue is used to help crack things open, such as shells, eggs, or nuts. The top four teeth face forward, and they are used to help break open larger things, such as a tree infested with bugs. The bottom four face backward which makes it harder for any prey to escape their grasp. On their tongue, a black barb is used to paralyze their victims, and the pocket of black liquid that is located under the tongue, near the two teeth, is used to distract enemies. The liquid is shot at the opponent's eyes, which burns them and gives the archidomin a chance to escape.
They also come n a variety of color and fancy plumage, but I'll discuss that later.
